Ride KTM EXC 250 & 300 two-strokes through South Africa’s incredible terrain, from tropical jungle single-track and rocky climbs to flowing mountain trails, as you journey from Ballito’s Dolphin Coast into the Valley of a Thousand Hills.
Every tour is fully supported with fuel, mechanics, a backup vehicle, and two expert local guides.
Step off the bike into wild South Africa and enjoy an included two-day guided safari at Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, with the chance to spot the legendary Big 5 animals: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.
Relax each morning and evening in handpicked hotels and lodges, with all meals included from breakfast and trail lunches to fantastic dinners and a traditional South African Braai (bbq).

Things to Remember:

This enduro tour is best suited to intermediate riders with previous enduro experience, as the terrain can be varied and technical.

South African weather is very warm and tropical. We recommend packing light and vented gear.
-
Temperatures can vary from 15 to 30 Degrees Celsius (59°F to 85°F) come prepared for warmth and coastal humidity.

We recommend packing your swimmers and summer casual clothes when off the bike to enjoy the beach and pools.

Medical Travel Insurance is required in case of illness or injury and details must be shared before the tour commences.

Optional Motorcycle Insurance CDW (Crash Damage Waiver) is available for an additional fee and is recommended for peace of mind.

The remaining 80% balance will be sent 2 months before your tour, and is due 1 month before arrival.

Each tour runs with a maximum of 6 riders, guided by 2 Ride With Locals guides, and requires a minimum of 3 riders to go ahead.

Most nationalities do not require a visa for South Africa (up to 90 days), but please check your travel requirements and passport validity for the country you are traveling from.

For flights, we recommend Emirates via Dubai, which includes 2x23kg luggage. Alternatively, fly into Johannesburg (O.R. Tambo Int) and connect to Durban (King Shaka Int Airport).
Bikes, Support & Riding Gear

You’ll be riding KTM or Husqvarna EXC 250 or 300 models, fully prepared for the trails.

Fuel, full mechanical support, a backup vehicle, and guidance from two Ride With Locals South Africa guides are all part of the experience.

Riders are required to bring their own full gear, including: helmet, chest and back protection, enduro riding shirt and pants combo, goggles, gloves, off-road boots, a hydration pack and any other gear you deem necessary.
